‘Tis the Season
It is getting to that time of year again when Photographers start to drop hints about what new camera equipment they really, really need and those few people who have not yet got into the hobby are giving serious consideration to making a start. And in the Northern hemisphere, at least, the mountains are beckoning, skis and snowboards are being tuned up and a lot of attention is being paid to the long range weather forecast.
When the snow does arrive and photographing it becomes irresistible, there are a few things to bear in mind in order to get good images. The Hints and Tips page has some information that will help to achieve a well-balanced photograph for this type of situation.
And for your photographer friends, as well as family and acquaintances there may be nothing better to give this year than the 2010 Calendar with a different one of David Moss’ photographs for each month. These are all his own photographs and you will not find them on any other wall calendar, making this 2010 calendar unique and something that you know the recipient will really appreciate throughout the year.
You know, any gamer or computer user like you would love to have a new mousepad. This one has a durable cloth top with a beautiful photograph by David Moss and a non-slip rubber backing. Furthermore, it is machine washable – no more grubby mousepads and this one is a pleasure to own and to use.
If, like me, you run out of ideas for gifts, check out the Reviews where you will find out about some excellent photography books that every photographer would be happy to have on his bookshelf. It is so easy to purchase any one of these books (or more) at competitive prices from Amazon.
